Patio Area with Waterfall
Arkle House described in the original brochure as a "Gentleman's residence", was built around 1900. The property has been recently refurbished, with great care taken to maintain the original charm and ambiance of this lovely old building.
All rooms have ensuite facilities and tv. There is a guest kitchen where snacks or even full meals can be prepared. Guests have use of the garden, patio and barbecue facilities. A separate tv lounge is also available. Many of our guests refer to Arkle House as a home from home, and that's the feeling you get as you drive in, even before you get inside. The house is absolutely bursting with character and charm. The dining room and tv lounge have original fire places dating back to circa 1890. The old bathroom has a Victorian roll top bath dated 1903, and there are many more charming features.
